Fordite, or Detroit Agate is in its most distilled form, car paint! 
When manufacturers like Dodge, Chevy, Ford, & Jeep paint the vehicles on the production line, there is inevitable "overspray" on the fixtures the bodies are mounted to. This builds up as hundreds of vehicles are painted each day. A human hair is roughly equivalent to 3 layers of automotive paint!
